Fresh fruit & veg
Fresh fruit, vegetables and salad arrive daily, with Northern Irish produce stocked in season.
Liam McMahon shop Belfast: the EUROSPAR at 111–129 Springfield Road, with groceries, fuel, a Post Office branch and a staffed deli under one roof, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including bank holidays.
EUROSPAR is the larger SPAR store format, closer to a small supermarket than a corner shop. The shop is part of the SPAR network in Northern Ireland and one of Liam McMahon's SPAR and EUROSPAR shops in Belfast. Its aisles are stocked for the weekly shop rather than just the top-up:
Trading 24 hours a day was the decision of Liam McMahon, the independent Belfast retailer who runs the shop, made for a road where people work nights, finish late shifts and need more than a vending machine at three in the morning.
Alongside the grocery aisles, four services make this a small everything-shop.
Lattes, cappuccinos, hot chocolate and freshly ground barista coffee, made at any hour of the day or night.
The shop has its own fuel forecourt and parking, so you can fill the car and finish the weekly shop in one stop.
A Post Office branch sits inside the shop, under the same roof as the groceries, for postage, parcels, bill payments and everyday counter services.
Counter hours are shorter than the shop's 24-hour trading hours, so contact the shop before a special trip.
The staffed deli counter serves cooked meats, cheeses and salads, with sandwiches made to order. Hot food runs through the day and night, from breakfast baps in the early hours to hot meals later on: a genuine option when nearly everything else in Belfast has closed.
